World’s Greatest Come ‘n Go Baby Shower

From 4:00PM to 7:00PM

This Free community wide event is open to any pregnant woman or parents of a baby born within the past six months and their families. As with the showers in the past, the event will be both fun and educational. We will also have information on topics like safe sleep, childbirth, car seat safety, breastfeeding, and the dangers of smoking while pregnant and around others. There will be many community partners there to let everyone know about their products or services. In addition to refreshments and entertainment we will have some great door prizes. The Department of Environmental Protection’s Topsail Hill Preserve State Park and the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Inc. invite you to join us each week for an evening of music, featuring the best musicians and singer/songwriters touring America today, hosted by Lucky Mud. Each program will offer an open mic showcase of local musicians from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with the concert following at 7:00 p.m. A suggested donation of $5 per vehicle/campsite/cabin will go directly to the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to be used to benefit the park's resource management projects and interpretive programs.
