6th Annual Suicide Prevention Conference

Life Management Center will hold it's 6th Annual Suicide Prevention Conference at Gulf Coast State College, 5230 W. Highway 98, Panama City, FL. Registration is $25 per person and free for students. The conference will feature Dr. Sofia Castro, the Suicide Prevention Specialist for the Statewide Office of Suicide Prevention. Dr. Castro will speak about her involvement with suicide prevention including: • Florida's Statewide Plan for Suicide Prevention • Suicide Prevention Coordinating Council and its efforts • The Florida LINC Project The conference will also include a community needs assessment, conducted by the SPARE Suicide Prevention Coalition, as well as other information about preventing suicides. 26th Annual Lobsterfest
